One of the first things you have to do before the ship sails is don your life jacket and head to your 'muster' station. (Where you would go if it were an actual emergency!) These are some serious lifejackets!!
We are on the trip with my mom and dad and younger brother and his wife and 3 children. Here we are at dinner at our first ‘formal night’. Dinner together each night is one of the highlights for all of us.
There are a ton of things to do on the ship. Steve and K and my brother all have tackled ‘THE WALL’ - A large climbing wall on board the ship. It’s pretty amazing to see. I plan on attempting it today. We’ll see....
Our stateroom neighbors my brothers room and we both have balconies that open up to each other. It has been wonderful to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view.
And, of course, it is always fun to come back to our room each evening to see what towel creature awaits us. Well, off to figure out what to do today. We are at sea all day and have lots we want to do on the ship. More next post, which will probably be after we get home.
Until Next Time....

So fun to get pictures! Looks like you're having a great time. I can't wait to hear all about it when you get home. Eat some fancy desserts for me. :-)
you have truly brought blogging to a new level-- blogging from a cruise ship. incredible! enjoy the remainder of your trip... hit that midnight buffet, girl!
Sounds like you are having a great time!
Sounds wonderful. I recognize that life boat drill! Also they must teach those towel animals in Cruise school - they are so much fun. My favorite was a monkey they made and then attached him to the clip on some pants hanger and had him dangling from the ceiling!
Oooh what fun!! Hope you have a great time and great weather.
Did you give the climbing wall a go?
Look at that beautiful blue water. Have a great time!!!
Hope you enjoy your cruise! Three of my new friends and I are heading to Egypt in February (well we leave January 31) and one of the things we are doing is taking a Nile cruise...I've never been on a cruise before...I'm starting to get excited for the trip though (even though I'm still a little scared...other than coming to Korea I've never travelled anywhere before).
Sure looks like you are having fun. Enjoy the warm sunny weather :) Most of all just have fun!
Hope you're finding time to do lots of happy knitting :)
