Gone Again...

Well, she's left me again! I can always tell when she's getting ready to leave because she starts making piles all over the house. And then she takes these piles and loads them into the car. And then I get 'the look'. You know the look. The 'Sorry, Sumo, maybe you can come next time' look. Sigh. I never get to go anywhere. Instead she leaves me here with the guys. Now, don't get me wrong, they're great guys and all, but they don't understand me like she does. She gives me a little extra food in my bowl each morning. When she's in the kitchen, she throws me a little treat. She understands my fear of the garage floor and opens the back door just for me. I know she'll be back in a few days and all, but I really think she just needs to stay home for awhile! I really thought when I saw how excited she was about the spinning wheel that she would cancel her trip to stay home and spin. But no, she still left (and took lots of knitting with her!) Just a few more days, I keep telling myself. That's a long time to go without a treat. I guess I'll survive somehow. Sigh. Maybe I'll just take a little nap........

Oh, poor Sumo! {{{HUGS}}} I totally understand how you feel! I was out of town yesterday for a long day (7 am to 8 pm), and my little Lhasa Apso girl was so sad and upset that I was gone for so long, and I left her at home! The guys just don't cut it like mom's do, do they?

Maybe your mom could arrange that your guys would give you some extra treats & lovies, and stuff, like your mom does while she's gone, if not for this time, at least for next time?

Hugs!!! Marianne

Oh, man, that breaks my heart. I think it should be manditory that all pets should be have to travel with us. I know I'd be happier and so would they.

Dear Sumo,
I have seen those "guys" with you, and I know that they spoil you almost as much as Janice does. But you still get lots of sympathy from me, because you're right - it's just not the same without her there to love on you. She'll be back soon. Hang in there. Hugs, Sheri

Sumo, your good with the guilt trip! You've been giving my kids lessons, haven't you!? Lucky mom to have a pup who loves her so much.

You have some adorable eyes! I bet the guys have been feeding you treats all weekend, even if mom's not home- I mean, who can resist that look???

Sumo,
What creative writing. So well written from such an adorable canine.

Don't worry you are only a thought away. Seriously, she talks about you about almost as much as her two-legged children.

Just think how sweet your reunion will be. Get that tail wagging and watch the treats fall like manna from heaven!!

You are loved.
