AND THE WINNER IS......

Well, before I tell you, let me just say 'THANK YOU' to all of you for your fun comments and for sharing your quirks with me. I am glad that I had decided ahead of time to just draw a name at random. I would have hated to try and rate whose quirk was 'quirkiest'!!

To decide the winner, I first printed out all of the names from the posts and gave it to Sumo for pre-drawing inspection.

Now, due to his lack of opposable thumbs, Sumo had to call in a human to help him actually draw the winner. Aaron volunteered. After mixing up the names for what seemed like an awful long time, he drew the name... Danielle! I have to say, I LOVED her quirk. She has to set her alarm clock so the 2 numbers after the colon equal the first number. 6:24; 5:14; 7:52 et... (I did notice she posted at 6:28..which must have been difficult!!) Anyways, I will be getting the prize box in the mail tomorrow.

Life is returning to a somewhat normal level with my completion of the 7th Harry Potter Book. Yep. I finished! GREAT BOOK. Hard to believe it is over. Now back to my knitting....

I will also be heading to St. Louis tomorrow to visit my good friend Sheri and the gang at the Loopy Ewe. So, I will be there on Tuesday, which is my 'official' 1-Year Blogiversary. I will be snatching up a fun skein of yarn and having another mini-drawing to celebrate that milestone. Do stay tuned!!

Until then, I leave you with another of my many quirks. And that is I HATE to have my picture taken. I would MUCH rather be behind the camera than in front of it. Sooo... I often am the one who 'ruins' the family photo during those Christmas Card Shoots with my face making. I can't help it. It just happens. (I am just very lucky that I am the one that actually chooses and sends out the cards!!)

Until Next Time...

P.S. Don't forget to celebrate your quirks!!

Okay jar lady,
I thought we had until today to submit a quirk ... guess I was wrong. I decided against the idea of sending you a list of my top 100 quirks ... and even though the contest is over, I'll submit one.

When raking leaves, I feel like I have to rake every last leaf in my section (which is very hard to do on windy days) ... I'll even rake one little leaf in an otherwise clean area. I'm getting better at it but it still takes me a long time to rake leaves ... good thing I love fall.

I'm so excited!

Have fun amongst the skeins of Loopy Ewe goodness... I'm still on a Loopy Ewe buying ban from my family members who know that I:

a.) only want sock yarn for my birthday
and
b.) tend to impulsively buy sock yarn at 2:00am after staring at it for 24 hours or so.

I sent my mom a Loopy Ewe birthday wishlist. In three parts. I love sheri's site!!! I just discovered it a short while ago and life will never be the same...

My boys don't like me taking their pictures...so they quickly figured out that with my digital camera they can smile, pose then I snap the picture and they move quickly out of the way! You should see all the empty shots I have. I've now outsmarted them, when I want to take their picture I use my old 35 mm which has a much faster shutter speed. That seems to work ;)
Enjoy your trip to St.Louie!
Happy knitting :)

I tried your microwave M&Ms. Very tastey! But the QUIRK sandwich will have to wait for a braver day.

Have fun at the Loopy Ewe. I've been covetting your "sheep" sock blockers from them, but they only have size small right now, and I need medium.

Oh!... and I agree with Allison:)
